Nemo is about 2 years old. He a wonderful, affectionate boy. He has a neurology condition called CH - cerebellar hypoplasia that he has had since birth. He makes him shake and wobble. There is no cure, no medication is needed, but his condition will never get worse. It is just the way he is. He loves to be petted and held. He needs a quiet home (no small children) and should be supervised. He needs a surface that he can grip, so carpeting or area rugs are fine. Ideally no stairs or at least carpeted. His litter box needs to be close by and his food bowl ideally elevated or secured so he does not knock them over. He has lived with several other cats and enjoys their company. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! You can come to our facility Monday thru Friday from 5 pm to 7 pm, Saturday from noon to 4 pm, Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm, and other times by appointment - Call

Please understand that the cats behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home, if the cat is nervous, anxious, or aggressive at the time please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.
Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CCC has a policy that kittens are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion. Due to demand, we are unable to place kittens on hold.
